Dinner Dance Night for Japan Tsunami Relief
The destruction and devastation caused by the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March is unimaginable and vast, wiping out entire communities and leaving thousands of people without shelter, medical assistance and other needed resources.
As part of this global community that seeks to strengthen compassion and kindness, the NY/NJ M.A. (Mata Amritanandamayi) satsang has organized a fundraising event to help the Japanese relief efforts. The M.A. Center has been actively working in the Tsunami affected area in Japan since March 14.
Join us for a benefit dinner dance on June 11.
Come and dance to the music of DJ Magic Mike and enjoy a delicious dinner (included in the ticket price). Meet EvaEva as she blends together American Jazz, Funk, Brazilian Samba, Indian Bhangra and Bollywood. Sing along with Bollywood Playback singers Geeta Gollapudi, Seshu Akula and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Fame-Harini Vasudevan will also perform.
This event will be held at the Police Athletic League (PAL) building at 33 Baldwin Road in Parsippany, N.J. on Saturday, June 11 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50/person (kids under 12 years old are free and students under 18 are $20, students above 18 are $30—student I.D. required for the discounted price).
