His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche Visits New Jersey and New York
His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche
Dzogchen Rinpoche, one of the highest lamas in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the authentic Dzogchen lineage holder and head of Dzogchen Monastery in South India, with more than 280 branch monasteries in Tibet, India, Nepal and Bhutan, and the West, will speak at two venues in Morris County this month.
Dzogchen Rinpoche’s worldwide tour of public talks, empowerments, teachings, and residential retreats will bring him to the Brookside Community Club, 1 E. Main Street, Brookside, on Friday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m., where he will speak on Love Free From Doubt. On Saturday, March 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., he will offer empowerment and teaching on Recognizing Genuine Love at the Center for Spiritual Living, 331 Mt. Kemble Ave., Morristown. There will also be a three-day retreat on Wisdom: The Sixth Paramita, from March 29 to April 1, in Ulster County, New York.
One of the most senior Tibetan Buddhist lamas alive today, His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche tells us that the very thing most of us seek, true love, escapes us because we put our own happiness before that of others. He offers ways to change life-long habits that present obstacles to achieving true contentment.
