Wellness Center Offers BioPhotonic Scans
The Wellness Center of Northwest Jersey (NWJ) has recently acquired a scientifically advanced instrument that provides a fast, painless and inexpensive method of measuring nutritional health.
Technological advances now make it possible to measure nutritional health noninvasively, without needles, through a 90-second blue laser light scan of the skin. This method, known as Resonance Raman Spectroscopy, has been used for many years in research laboratories. Recently it has been adapted to measure the health status of living tissue.
The scanner measures the level of carotenoids in the skin when the patient places the palm of his or her hand over the blue laser light on the instrument. Carotenoids show the level of antioxidants in the skin. Antioxidants in turn have been shown to protect our organs on both the cellular and DNA levels.
The instrument used to take these measurements is known as the BioPhotonic Scanner. It was recently demonstrated on the Dr. Oz television show: Dr. Oz and all of his audience members were scanned and learned what their scanner scores told them about their health. He called the BioPhotonic Scanner “the ultimate nutritional lie detector.” Numerous scientific studies have confirmed the accuracy of the BioPhotonic Scanner measurement as well as its link to nutritional health.
Getting a BioPhotonic Scan at a cost of less than $30 can give you a visual chart of your current status as well as your progress toward better health in the future. Scans are available at the Wellness Center of Northwest Jersey, located in the Randolph Medical Arts Building, 765 Route 10 East in Randolph, NJ.
