Clean Water Action Conference
Clean Water Action's 28th annual conference will be held on Saturday, March 1, at Georgian Court University (GCU) in Lakewood. The annual event brings together more than 200 citizens, organizations, students, scientists, and policymakers to discuss the most important environmental issues facing New Jersey.
Dan Fagin, author of Toms River: A Story of Science and Salvation, will be the keynote speaker. The day will also feature dozens of environmental workshops, speakers, vendors, and grassroots awards, along with a continental breakfast, lunch, and networking reception. Registration is $25 per person in advance if received by February 17; $30 per person after February 17 and at the door; and $15 per student with student ID. Low-income scholarships are available.
