Local Screening of Just One Drop: The story behind the homeopathy controversy.
Just One Drop is a documentary that tells the little-known story of homeopathy—the most controversial system of medicine ever invented. Could this be nature’s most potent medicine?
Homeopathy is a specific form of medicine that uses minute doses of a highly diluted substance that stimulates the body to cure itself. To many, homeopathy seems implausible. They fear it is purely a placebo effect or worse, a form of deception or quackery. Yet, homeopathy has been around for over 200 years and is used by millions worldwide. The film explores the controversy, dispels myths and misconceptions, and asks whether homeopathy has been given a fair shake.
Just One Drop challenges the current exclusionary mindset of modern medicine and could radically change how one views illness, health and healing. Ultimately, the film’s message is about freedom of choice in healthcare.
The film will be shown on December 4, at 6:30 p.m., at Clearview Headquarters 10 Theatre in Morristown, and followed by Q&A with award-winning filmmaker Laurel Chiten and Rachel Roberts, CEO of HRI (Homeopathic Research Institute). To purchase tickets, please visit http://gathr.us/screening/21622.
