Neurographica

Neurographica is a new form of art therapy that makes the journey to happiness, personal and spiritual growth very pleasant and easy. It contains many algorithms and coaching modalities. Karine Arshakyan, known to all as Ryna, calls it “Meditation on Paper.”

Ryna is a certified Art Therapy-Neurographica Specialist, along with being a certified art teacher, special ed teacher, life coach and counselor. “In one way or another we all dream of happiness. Many of us want to learn how to control our emotions, thoughts, reactions and daily habits,” shares Ryna. “In order to live a happy life in balance and harmony, we want to come out of limitations and avoid negative emotions. Our daily habits are very powerful and our brain is overwhelmed with huge amounts of thoughts and memories every day.”

Research suggests that 40% of our behavior is subconscious and 80% of our thoughts are negative. For many, the simple question “what do I want?” is difficult to answer yet we know exactly what we do not want. Through neurographica art therapy participants can develop and improve the ability to be more aware of inner feelings and physical sensations.

Drawing during art therapy sessions helps keep our attention and thoughts on a particular area of interest for a much longer period of time than talking alone. Drawing is not a replacement but an addition to words that we use to express ourselves during sessions. Images that we create are associated with words we use. The physical action of drawing is mentally soothing and requires no artistic talent to be used as a method of relaxation, focus and discovery.

Neurographica therapy offers an opportunity to build a stronger future for ourselves by drawing, thinking, talking and feeling simultaneously. It transfers negative emotions and replaces them with the energy of dreams and intentions.

Regular sessions with a counselor can be helpful in addressing issues from the past. Overcoming problems from the past helps us be in the present.

Neurographica helps us build a strong foundation and plant seeds today to harvest in our future. The combination of neurographica with coaching, meditation and breathwork can give you:

  • Emotional balance
  • Improved health
  • Develop inner freedom
  • Overcome fear and anxiety
  • Build self-esteem
  • Live with inspiration
  • Reduce victim mentally
  • Develop a better relationship with yourself

This therapy is open to adults and children 3 years of age and up. Ryna offers private, group and online sessions, and discounts for the 10 consecutive sessions package. While insurance is not accepted, Ryna is committed to offering reasonable rates.

5 Top Tips to Finding Your Next Doctor

1 Keep an Open Mind! Healthcare has come a long way. Today, you have access to practitioners that branch outside of traditional medicine and aim to identify the root causes of conditions while using alternative treatments that may help you get the relief you need. Just because it’s not a pill, doesn’t make it pseudoscience.

2 Build Your Health Care Team. There is no one doctor that can be the be-all-end-all for your health needs. Be sure to have a team of practitioners with different “lenses” and areas of expertise who will treat the root cause and not just the symptom(s).

3   Environment Influences Healing. Health is multi-factorial. Your mental and emotional environment plays a pivotal role in your healing potential. Your doctors and their staff should create an office atmosphere filled with positivity so you can get the most out of your care.

4 Your Story Matters.  Before you begin any treatment, be sure to have a comprehensive consultation to discuss your health concerns. Find practitioners who welcome questions and will take the time to listen and treat you with respect.

5 Report of Findings. When it comes to our health, we often make decisions without understanding the risk versus benefits. Knowledge is an important part of the healing process and is essential to make conscious, informed health decisions. Find practitioners who take the time to explain their exam findings and the recommendations for treatment in ways that make sense to you.
