Rebalancing Energy, Health and Love in February

The power of scent can remind you of cherished memories or warn you of hidden danger. Did you also know it can help improve health and restore your body’s inner balance? Those are merely some of the benefits of essential oils.

            Essential oils are made by distilling different parts of a plant, leaves, flowers, stems, resins and roots. Many types can be put directly on the skin as long as they are pure and contain no synthetic ingredients, while others work best when combined with a carrier oil. To learn how to use these oils properly, Awakening Wellness is pleased to offer two workshops in February:  Chakra Balancing on February 8 at 7:00 p.m.; and New Year New You with Essential Oils on February 19 at 2:00 p.m.  These educational opportunities show participants how to use essential oils effectively for balancing chakras, and as a preventative and/or supportive measure for various health issues such as headaches, insomnia, digestive issues and musculoskeletal pain. 

            Owner Hilary Bilkis is also excited about two additional February workshops: Discover Your Love Language on February 13 at 7:00 p.m., and a full day event in Rockaway called ReClaim Your Life on February 19. Each, in their own way, help participants release blocks that hinder the expression of love for partners, self and life.

1 Keep an Open Mind! Healthcare has come a long way. Today, you have access to practitioners that branch outside of traditional medicine and aim to identify the root causes of conditions while using alternative treatments that may help you get the relief you need. 5 Report of Findings. When it comes to our health, we often make decisions without understanding the risk versus benefits. Knowledge is an important part of the healing process and is essential to make conscious, informed health decisions. Find practitioners who take the time to explain their exam findings and the recommendations for treatment in ways that make sense to you.
