Natural Awakenings North Central New Jersey

Natural Awakenings Proudly Introduces Yoga Teacher Rosie Lazroe

Rosie Lazroe

Local yoga teacher, Rosie Lazroe, will be in charge of the yoga section in each of our Natural Awakenings editions, in which she will feature the hidden talents of our yoga professionals. Over the past five years, Rosie has been teaching yoga full time, offering classes, workshops and trainings in various yoga studios along the coast. Many yoga teachers spark the interest of new yoga students by sharing something personal and unique in their yoga classes. Rosie, in particular, identifies with her students through sound by singing soothing yogic songs and offering mantra in her yoga classes. However, she has experienced many diverse yoga communities, and has met many qualified yoga teachers who offer much more than yoga.  Some teachers pull from previous experience in the corporate world to help those currently in the profession to find peace of mind on the job. Other yoga teachers incorporate art, music, massage, dance and creative writing.

Rosie shares, “As leaders in the field of health and wellness, we as yoga professionals can support and promote healthy, balanced communities simply by living our yoga off the mat and sharing our knowledge so others can do the same. Together we can offer easy access to quality information of the health benefits of a yogic lifestyle.”  Rosie is excited to learn about your journey and is enthusiastic to help get your message out.

Rosie Lazroe is a NJ native, 200 hour RYT, YACEP, prenatal yoga teacher trainer, meditation facilitator, Reiki master teacher, musician and enthusiastic student of life. Learn more about Rosie and what she offers at RosieLazroe.com.

5 Top Tips to Finding Your Next Doctor

1 Keep an Open Mind! Healthcare has come a long way. Today, you have access to practitioners that branch outside of traditional medicine and aim to identify the root causes of conditions while using alternative treatments that may help you get the relief you need. Just because it’s not a pill, doesn’t make it pseudoscience.

2 Build Your Health Care Team. There is no one doctor that can be the be-all-end-all for your health needs. Be sure to have a team of practitioners with different “lenses” and areas of expertise who will treat the root cause and not just the symptom(s).

3   Environment Influences Healing. Health is multi-factorial. Your mental and emotional environment plays a pivotal role in your healing potential. Your doctors and their staff should create an office atmosphere filled with positivity so you can get the most out of your care.

4 Your Story Matters.  Before you begin any treatment, be sure to have a comprehensive consultation to discuss your health concerns. Find practitioners who welcome questions and will take the time to listen and treat you with respect.

5 Report of Findings. When it comes to our health, we often make decisions without understanding the risk versus benefits. Knowledge is an important part of the healing process and is essential to make conscious, informed health decisions. Find practitioners who take the time to explain their exam findings and the recommendations for treatment in ways that make sense to you.
